Alabama Unveils Web Portal for Truckers

MONTGOMERY , AL . -- The state's Information Services Division (ISD), has announced the introduction of a new web portal for truckers.   The website, found at: www.trucking.alabama.gov, provides a ‘one-stop’ portal for truck drivers in or passing through the state of Alabama .

The site can handle a multitude of tasks and inquiries, such as handling online payments of trip and fuel permits; looking up road rules and regulations; getting news on road closures; viewing Alabama maps identifying welcome centers, rest areas and much more.
