Granger, IA -- The Barr-Nunn - Roush Fenway Racing Sweepstakes continue on into the fall season. Barr-Nunn has already sent drivers to 5 races throughout the year including the Carquest Auto Parts 300 Race and the Busch Series RoadLoans.com 200 Race. On October 12th, Barr-Nunn and Changing Lanes teamed up to send Barr-Nunn’s most recent sweepstakes winner on an all-expense paid trip to the Dollar General 300 race at the Lowe’s Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The sweepstakes winner of this race was Rocky Peek, a company driver for Covenant Transport. Peek has been a driver for over 20 years now and although this was not his first NASCAR race, it was one of his best experiences at a race. He was provided with hotel accommodations in a first class hotel. Barr-Nunn driver representative Jim Pardoe was Peek’s host for the race.
Peek was able to watch from the pit and he said he had a whole new perspective on the race. He also met two time winner of the NASCAR Championship, Buddy Baker. “Meeting this driver was really the ‘cats meow’ of the trip”, says Peek. A tour of the garage area was also provided.
All in all, Rocky Peek had an “awesome” weekend and was treated really well by Barr-Nunn from the minute he got there.
