United Sugars Corporation has awarded Barr-Nunn their Achievement of Excellence award for 2009. This is the second year in a row that Barr-Nunn has been awarded this honor from United Sugars.

The Barr-Nunn tractor/trailer participating in the parade was a brand new 2010 International Prostar pulling Barr-Nunn's "America Supports You" trailer which pays respect to all the men and women serving in the armed forces. It was driven by Barr-Nunn dispatcher Mike Owens, who has been with the company since 1992.
The United Sugars award was the result of the cohesive work of everyone in the company - every driver, every department, and every shift.
