Diesel price continues climb

For the third week in a row, the national average price for diesel went on the rise. The cost at the pump was up 3.4 cents per gallon this reporting period, to $4.177.

Prices were up in all five of the main eia districts. The most dramatic change was reported by the West Coast district, with prices there rising 5.7 cents per gallon to $4.312.
