Diesel price down 2.2 cents

The national average price for diesel fuel went down slightly this reporting period, with the price at the pump dropping 2.2 cents per gallon to $2.957.
|

| Prices went down in four of the five main eia districts. The most dramatic drop was reported by the Midwest district, with the average price there dropping 2.6 cents to $2.927 per gallon. |
