Price for diesel drops 2.8 cents

Back on a roller coaster ride of ups and downs, the national average price for diesel dropped this reporting period, going down 2.8 cents per gallon to $3.416.
|

| Prices fell in all five of the main eia districts. The most dramatic change was reported by the West Coast district, with prices there falling 5.5 cents per gallon to $3.532. |
