Diesel price up for sixth consecutive week

The national average price for diesel fuel went up another 7.4 cents this reporting period as rising prices at the pump hit a sixth consecutive week. The increase pushed the average up to $2.572 per gallon.

| Prices went up in all five of main eia districts. The most dramatic increase was reported by the East Coast district, with the price up 8.5 cents to $2.601 per gallon. |
