Fifth straight record high for diesel

The price for diesel continues upward and setting record highs. Following weeks of double-digit increases, the national average price for diesel went up just 1.5 cents per gallon this reporting period to $3.989.

| Prices went up in all five of the main eia districts. The most dramatic change was reported by the Rocky Mountain district, with prices there rising 6.1 cents per gallon to $3.953. |
