Melton Truck Lines, Inc. Names New Director of Operations

TULSA, OK. --  Melton Truck Lines, a premier air-ride flatbed carrier based in Tulsa, OK, has announced the promotion of Lisa Mason to the position of Director of Operations.   Lisa has held various supervisory positions in Recruiting and Contractor Services, most recently serving as the Operations Training Coordinator.  In her new position, Lisa will be overseeing Driver Managers and Extended Coverage.  She began her career with Melton in 1998 in the Recruiting Department.

“Lisa has been “in training” for her new position for many years,” said Russ Elliott, Senior Vice President of Operations.  “From her beginning with Melton in Recruiting to managing Contractor Services, she brings extensive Operations knowledge and enthusiasm to the group.”

“I am so excited to be a part of this amazing team,” Lisa said.  “You will not find another company with the work ethic that Melton Truck Lines has.  We hold each other accountable to do a good job, but still manage to have fun,” she said.  “My main focus and goals initially will be driver retention and on-time service.  We hope to increase driver retention through relationship building, and are establishing monthly on-time service goals with each driver.”
