Job Summary
Ability to deliver and assist in offloading bulk tankers and dry-van shipments. Home most weekends, along with an average of two nights a week, with the occasional weekend haul. Willingness to assist other departments when not driving, most specifically production.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Deliver both Hazmat and Non-Hazmat bulk tanker shipments while assisting with the offloading process.
• Deliver both Hazmat and Non-Hazmat dry-van shipments.
• Spotting tankers/trailers for the Production Team.
• Shuttling Tractors/Trailers/Tankers needing repairs or inspections.
• Assist Production Team with, but not limited to, filling tanks, loading trailers, production floor cleanup, and Inventory.
• Assist Fleet Manager with general tractor, trailer, and tanker maintenance.

Skills/Abilities
• Ability to haul both bulk tankers and dry-van trailers.
• Possess the knowledge on how to offload a tanker trailer properly.
• Must demonstrate the ability to properly back up a trailer.
• Demonstrate all the necessary safety checks required before driving.
• Need for a strong sense of safety.
• Must be very detail-oriented.
• Basic ability to perform mechanics.
• Ability to properly operate a forklift.
• Openness to assist departments outside of logistics when not driving.
• Strong interpersonal skills, work effectively, and relate well to all levels within the organization as well as with each customer upon delivery.
• Proactively seeks out feedback and adjusts future approaches, applying lessons learned in a disciplined way
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.

Education and Experience Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Class A CDL
• Hazmat Authority
• Tanker Endorsement.

• Must be able to climb a ladder.
• Willingness to climb and work on top of a bulk tanker.
