Class-A CDL Delivery Driver | Omaha NE

MAERSK is hiring a Class A Truck Driver with DELIVERY experience to work out of our Omaha, NE Location

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour

*The above-stated pay is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.

Shift hours:

Mon - Fri / Start time: First Shift 8 AM TO 5 PM

Requirements:

• Class A CDL (CLEAN MOTOR VEHICLE RECORD)
• Must have at least 1 full year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience within the last 5 years
• Delivery experience A MUST
• Must have a clean motor vehicle record
• Medical DOT Card mandatory
• Must be at least 22 years of age
• Must be comfortable driving both Tractor Trailers and Straight Trucks

Physical Requirements:
This position requires standing and walking for extended periods. Position requires the employee to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend, and lift objects above their head. The employee must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly. The position requires regular use of a phone and a PC, as well as reading and writing various shipping documents.

• Comfortable with assembling/disassembling freight
• Able to apply basic problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret maps
• Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate and surrounding areas
• Ability to read and understand tariff signs and signals
• Ability to read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms, and other related documents
