Job Duties

• Transport Fuel: Safely operate tanker trucks from regional terminals to commercial sites and retail gas stations.
• Compliance & Electronic Logging: Maintain accurate records, hours of service (HOS), and pre/post-trip vehicle inspection reports (DVIR) utilizing the Samsara platform.
• Safety First: Load, secure, and unload hazardous liquid materials adhering to all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Report any mechanical issues immediately through Samsara to ensure fleet safety and compliance.
• Flexible Scheduling: Work local rotating shifts, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Morning shift: 4:00 AM or 5:00 AM
• Night shift: 4:00 PM or 5:00 PM

Requirements

• Licensing: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HazMat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements.
• Active TSA clearance
• Must possess and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
• Experience: Minimum of one year of verifiable commercial driving experience (tanker experience strongly preferred).
• Tech Savvy: Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn the Samsara driver app for logging and safety monitoring.
• Local Knowledge: Solid understanding of the highway networks and local roads in the Wilkes-Barre and Allentown regions.
• Physical Ability: Capability to lift to 50 lbs, drag heavy fuel hoses, and work outdoors in varying Pennsylvania weather conditions.
• Clean Record: Pristine driving record with no major violations or preventable accidents within the past three years.
