Trucking Company Overview:
We have employment opportunities available for tank and van drivers. Our tank division offers on-the-job training to qualified applicants to assist in obtaining tank and hazmat endorsements.
The following will be considered minimum requirements for being employed and maintaining employment as a driver with Ballard Inc.
TANK DRIVERS
- Active Class A CDL with at least 2 years of experience.
- Must have or be willing to obtain tank and hazmat endorsements.
- Driving experience with tankers is preferred but not required.
- Minimum age of 23
- Meet all DOT regulations on driver qualifications and have reasonable, comprehensive knowledge of FMCSA regulations about driver actions and responsibility.
- Must pass all DOT-required physical exams and drug/alcohol tests.
- Must be insurable and have a clean driving record.
- Over-the-road drivers must be able to obtain a U.S. passport
VAN DRIVERS
- Active Class A CDL with at least 2 years of experience.
- Meet all DOT regulations about driver qualifications and have reasonable, comprehensive knowledge of FMCSA regulations about driver actions and responsibility.
- Must pass all DOT-required physical exams and drug/alcohol tests.
- Must be insurable and have a clean driving record.
- Average pay of $0.65/mile (average yearly salary $75,000-$95,000)
