Trucking Company Overview:
Nmonson Elect is seeking dependable, safety-focused Over-the-Road CDL Drivers to join its team. This position is ideal for drivers who enjoy the open road, value independence, and take pride in delivering freight safely and on time across multiple states. OTR drivers typically spend extended periods on the road, covering long distances while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and customer expectations.
Responsibilities generally include operating a Class A commercial vehicle, conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, managing logs and trip documentation, securing freight when needed, and communicating regularly with dispatch regarding load status and delivery schedules. Drivers are expected to practice safe driving habits, provide professional service at pickup and delivery locations, and maintain awareness of changing road and weather conditions.
Successful candidates are typically self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently. A valid CDL, a clean driving record, and a strong commitment to safety and reliability are commonly expected.
