Trucking Company Overview:
Join Cheetah Trucking as an Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver and become a key part of our growing fleet. This role offers consistent miles, strong freight support, and the opportunity to operate well-maintained equipment across long-haul routes. Drivers will run refrigerated freight and work with a team focused on safety, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers
- Drive refrigerated trailers
- Plan routes efficiently while complying with Hours of Service regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT standards
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and equipment
- Communicate with dispatch to coordinate pickups and deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license (no more than 2 moving violations)
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving tractor-trailers
- Experience with refrigerated trailers
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to manage routes and maintain on-time performance
Pay and Home Time
- Pay: $0.60 – $0.70 CPM
- Detention pay
- Breakdown pay
- Layover pay: $150
- Referral bonus: $1,000
