Trucking Company Overview:
Hitting the open road, building relationships, delivering products on time, and making our customers smile are the daily duties of a Badger Liquor Driver. Our drivers enjoy a 4-day work week in an exciting and ever-growing business. Do you have your CDL? Great! Not yet? We can work with you to complete it and get you on a route. Duties also include heavy lifting (hey, cases of liquor aren’t light), collecting payments, and processing paperwork. Must maintain compliance under FMCSA.
Schedule: Tuesday - Friday with start times between 5:00 am - 6:00 am.
Rate: $25/hour
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Deliver assigned orders to customer accounts in a safe, timely, and efficient manner while complying with FMCSA regulations
- Maintain route expectations and standards set by managers
- Read invoices and manifests to ensure appropriate products are delivered to each customer in a designated timeframe
- Assemble customer orders and place products in storage or account-specific designated areas
- Work safely at all times and notify the company of any safety-related issues immediately
- Complete a pre and post-trip inspection of the truck and communicate any needed repairs to the mechanic
- Maintain good communication and relations with internal and external customers
- Provide continuous improvement feedback and communication to management
- Work with and support customer service and sales teams to improve daily productivity
- Comply with company safety standards, Department of Transportation regulations, Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations, and warehouse delivery policies and procedures
- Ensure the load is secured to prevent breakage
- Complete necessary paperwork related to deliveries and collect payments from customers
- Assist with effectively managing returns processing
- Keep the interior and exterior of the truck clean and organized
- Report all mis-picks/shorts to management
- Daily compliance with electronic driver logs
- Adhere to internal training outlined by your supervisor, such as Badger University, Driver Ambassador Program, etc.
- May be required to attend company meetings on non-scheduled work days
- May assist in the warehouse when needed
- May be required to flex hours to support all areas of the business
- Additional duties as assigned by management

- Must exhibit professionalism with customers at all times to include proper dress attire representing the company
- Adhere to all safety, DOT, and FMCSA standards within the course of performing job duties
- Advanced knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations and compliance
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) preferred
- Commercial Driver License (CDL), Class B preferred
- A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of CDL driving experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required
- Experience in a distribution and/or sales environment preferred
Due to the fast-paced, highly physical demands of the position, job candidates will be required to complete a Post-Offer Pre-Employment Physical (POPE). To qualify for the position, job candidates must pass all aspects of the POPE.
